REGISTRATION RUNS FROM TODAY UNTIL JANUARY 31st (EST) Open to US residents of the Lower 48.

ELIGIBLE FISH THIS CONTEST PERIOD: LARGEMOUTH BASS (Smallmouth will have a future contest as well as spotted bass)

First you must register by posting on the thread as a competitor in the contest which begins February 1st. Fish must be caught by the individual listed as the “Registered Angler”. You are able to submit 1 fish for free and 2 additional fish can be submitted to replace your previous entry for a $5 PayPal donation EACH to my local bass clubs benefit tournament. LIMIT 3 ENTRIES PER ANGLER (Message me for PayPal info)

I will provide an image with code that will need to be shown in pic of fish that is being registered as the entry and must be shown in all 3 required pics. The Code is a unique, seven digit alpha-numeric code which is randomly generated. One fish with the greatest weight will determine the winner

The winner will be announced within 72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) of the conclusion of the tournament. Rod will be delivered via USPS free of charge. If you prefer different shipping service you pay for it.

There will be 3 photos necessary for qualified entry into contest and must be emailed to me @ [email protected] br />(Fish with ruler, fish with scale, fish with angler)

Camera Specifications:

* 4 Mega Pixel minimum.
* Please No Cell phone cameras. No video cameras.
* Resolution: File size must be set to the largest size.
* File Type: Must be set to JPEG.
* Quality: Must be set to High.
* Your catch (the live fish) must be alive when measured and photographed.
* Using your digital camera, you are required to take one photograph showing the "Fish with Ruler", another photograph showing "Fish with Angler",and one with "Fish with Scale" (in photos section)
* All photographs that are uploaded to Group for any individual entry must come from the same camera.

Your catch (the live fish) lying flat with a measuring device below the fish, clearly indicating the length of the fish and clearly displaying the Code.

* You must take the photograph from directly above and centered on the fish.
* All photographs must be clear.
* The fish must be lying down on a flat surface.
* The fish must be visible from tip to tail. Any part of the fish not visible in the picture will not count as part of the length.
* The measuring device must be clearly visible and must be placed below the fish as shown in the example below. Entries with the measuring device placed above or on top of the fish or where the measuring device is not clearly visible may be disqualified.
* Total Length is measured from the most forward point of the head, with the mouth closed, to the farthest tip of the tail while the fish is lying on its side. The tail may not be pinched, compressed, or squeezed in any manner.
(We will use zoom option to read ruler accurately on our computer software)
There will be no requirement for girth measurement due to inconsistencies.
Only a valid ruler, tape measure or measuring board will be recognized for measuring the length of the fish. This device must be displayed clearly in photo. Any photo evident tampering or anyone suspected of using an inaccurate measuring device will disqualified.
Please Note: While not mandatory, the use of a rigid ruler or hard tape measure will produce a more accurate measurement.

Fish must be weighed on a DIGITAL SCALE with weight fully visible and whole fish and angler in picture. (We will use zoom option to read scale accurately our computer software)

The winning entry is validated by admins and all decisions are final. Participants may be required to provide additional information if requested by me(including, but not limited to, additional images from the same camera that was used for your tournament photos). The group reserves the right to reject or accept any entry. Any falsification of information provided by the registered angler will lead to disqualification. Failure to comply with these rules will result in forfeiture of prize.
