The February meeting of Trout Unlimited will hold it's monthly meeting at 6:30 pm on Feb. 19, 2009 at the Greenway Farm in Hixson.
The featured speaker for the meeting will be Captain Dane Law, Fly Fishing Guide and Owner of Southeastern Anglers. Dane is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain who lives in Reliance TN on the banks of the Hiwassee River. Southeastern Anglers guides flyfishing trips on the Hiwassee, Holston, Clinch, Tellico, Toccoa, and Cumberland Rivers.
In addition to Captain Law's presentation, the chapter will hold its annual chili contest at the February meeting. The stories about how good different folk's chili tastes are almost as big as the one that got away. Come judge for yourself! Cook up a batch of your favorite recipe and bring it to the meeting. If you don't have a recipe, come be a judge.
