Does anyone have any negatives things to say about this kayak other than its slow....I've a read some reviews online and the keen wearing thin? Not to sure when it was posted but I do like the yaks just trying to get some feed back on the kayaks itself

I absolutely love mine. Yes, it is a bit slow, but you get great stability in return. You can stand in it all day. The seat is best in the business and its adjustable up to 10 inches i believe. As far custom service goes, you will not find anyone better. I had a latch break and sent them a picture on facebook, and a new one a few days later free of charge.

Overall, if you want comfort, stability, and top notch customer service at a great price, look no further. But, if you plan paddling miles and miles, i would look elsewhere.

Who handles warranty claim, the dealer, or do you have to ship it back to Thailand?

I am kind of fond of Jackson kayaks, made here in TN, by TN workers, using mostly locally sourced materials.

I really like mine. It is very stable and as said the seat raises 10" which gives a nice place to cast from. For me it has plenty of storage and for the price I was sold. Triple B Outfitters near Lake Site has them, they will let you take one out on the lake.

For me the speed thing isn't much of any issue, since it is the first one I have owned so I have nothing to compare it too. Ignorance is bliss in this case.

I've looked at the Jackson kayaks there nice too but it seems like you just pay more for the name I think I lean more towards the lure...would love some input from someone who had both

I have tried a few yaks. The lure is super stable. I am not much for standing up even though I can stand easily in my ride 135. I also have a tarpon 120 which is super fast but not as stable. Still fishes great. One of the best buys in a yak is the prescador pro at $729.00 Academy. A friend has one and the seat is great and just as stable as my tarpon. Has cool battery and transducer mounting area. Well worth a look.

My only negative is the fact the the rear end of mine tends to spin around when I fish. If I'm paddling up to a spot to fish and stop paddling the rear end just decides to go one way or the other usually. An anchor hung over the back tends to stop this.

I haven't ever saw that... maybe the seat is too far forward? I cant remember if the Lure seat moves or not like the Ride.

my wife has a jackson cruise and loves and she tried the feel free moken recently and didnt like it as much she like the seat on the feelfree and the the price was resonable but to get the chair that she liked she would have to spend more on the feel free but she tried both and even though the feel free is more stable she prefers the jackson and the warranty on the jackson like the feel free is very good. ive never personally tried one but the feelfree looks like a really nice kayak i personally have a pro angler and love it i think most placed will let you demo a kayak you are interested in rock creek will i know.
