Thats like Chevy or Ford .. Every one has an opinion , Glass has better ride more stable in rough water, Aluminum takes more abuse as far as stumps rocks etc.. but on a windy day you while fight the wind more to stay in position than someone in a glass boat.

really depends on what kind of fishing/boating you do. Fiberglass is good for bass fishing and driving long distances. Aluminum is good to run up on the bank and takes abuse a lot better. They both will deplete over time, Just remember to take good care of either one and it will last you a long time.

Yea! Aluminum is more durable, so if your wanting to fish smaller streams and creeks or fishing near dams where the boat might be scraping the walls as well as the lakes, Id say aluminum. If your fishing the main rivers and lakes/reservores, and want a smoother ride w/ more speed and and more hp w/ larger motor, Id go fiberglass. I personally, for my type of fishing, would choose aluminum because they are more versital.IMO
