Finally at summer pool, hopefully TVA will give us some good flow soon.

With Chickamauga being filled up for the last 6 weeks the flow has really been poor. Hopefully now that we are at or almost at summer pool when we get some rains we'll get some flows in the 20K or higher range. I haven't followed this closely from year to year but let's hope that the flows will increase.

They brought Parksville up to summer pool, but TVA plans to bring it back down to winter pool... WHY?

Have y'all have noticed...... not many posted big cat reports from the nuke lately. Water Flow = Fish.

Until things start heating up you can expect flows to remain about the same from both Watts Bar and Chickamauga. Expect one unit to be running 24/7 to maintain minimum cooling flows for Watts Bar and Sequoyah Nuclear plants. Once we start getting hotter days expect the flows to start picking up for the afternoon peak demands (i.e., our air conditioners are cranking). Depending on the day, load, temps, rains, etc, etc, they will sometimes crank up to meet morning peaks as well.
