Finding Lowrance HDS 8 serial number

I just picked up a used HDS 8 and want to register it. How can I find the serial number?? I didnt see it anywhere on the unit.

If it is still there..... it should be a sticker on the bottom of the head unit on the ledge underneath all the plug ins on the back
