First Annual Christmas Gift Collection Tournament

Hosted by Tennessee, Georgia Bassmasters

I know that there are several tournaments each year to collect toys for children but in an effort to support the awana program at Salem Baptist Church we are doing something a little different.

This is to benefit the children's awana program at Salem Baptist Church in Dalton. These gifts are being collected for children who can't afford gifts to be able to give one to there parents who are also in need. This also teaches children the joy of giving!

This tournament will take place Saturday 12/7 on Lake Chickamauga. The ramp location will be at the dam. Entry fee is $40 per boat plus 1 gift per angler. (Please try to supply a gift from the provided list or something close) Maximum of 2 anglers per boat. Optional big fish pot is $10 per boat. All entry fees and big fish money will be paid back 100% to the participating anglers. If you fish alone you will pay $40 entry but will only be required to supply 1 gift. This will be a 3 fish limit and just to keep things simple and because I am not a fisheries biologist we will observe the following size of imit of 15" for green fish and 18" for brown fish.

Just wanted to post an update and say that we are allowing high school teams to fish with a boat captain. However just like high school rules the boat captain will not be allowed to fish. There is no extra charge and it isn't mandatory for the boat captains to bring a gift but it is encouraged and will be greatly appreciated!

Artificial bait only. Take off will be in the order of registration which will begin the morning of the tournament. Tournament times will be safe light until 3 pm.

I have a complete list of the gifts posted in the photo.

Please note that Salem Baptist Church does not profit from this event at all as they are 100% self funded.

Just wanted to remind everyone that this tournament is going on tomorrow, Saturday 12/7. We have had a very good response and we're expecting a good crowd.
