Most people know that I am not a good fisherman, well i am an even worse hunter. I've only been hunting 2 or 3 times in my life. I am no stranger to guns, but never got into hunting.
My brother asked if I wanted to hunt with him at his club in N. GA Friday thru today. It was a pretty cool little camp.
Friday morning, about 8:15, a doe stepped out into the clearing. I squeezed the trigger and knocked down my first deer! I was fired up to say the least. About 10:30, another one stepped out and was dealt the same fate.
I saw more deer over the weekend, but many were smaller and I passed on them. I did here a buck calling for a doe not far from my stand this morning, but apparently he didn't like my smell (neither did I).
Just wanted to say thanks to my brother and the other members of the club for letting me be a guest.
The one picture would be better if we weren't so fat...
