Hey folks, Im new to CFF and glad to be in. Ive been fishing since My much older brother held up a security fence for me to fish a 1/2 acre pond at a powerhouse, which was off limits in North Carolina. I was 4 yrs old, I caught 16 bluegill, and we were ran off. From that point on it has been my obsession. Im pretty sure he took advantage of the situation so I could grow just enough interest for him to have a helper while he was fishing, but instead he found competition.
I just got my first boat - Nitro 640lx with 75hp. It doesnt have the NASA speed many on the water have but I'll take it, especially for learning the ropes. I love it and I am working real hard not to let it affect my day job too much.
I love bass fishing am working to learn the strategies for our area...they are much different than North Carolina and Central Florida where Ive done most of my fishing. The only places Ive fished so far are HBSP and Grasshopper. I fished Nickajack several times with a friend a few years back.
Anyway, I could go on so now is a good time to move on. I look forward sharing info and getting to know some folks. I hope to see you on the water. Take care and God Bless.

Matt

Awesome. WE Like having you. I just got started fishing last year really, and I dabbled a little bit the summer before that, and I will be first to say, this place can be a huge help. People on here can help you learn so much faster and save a lot of time. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing you post of tearing them up, maybe even your post of I got skunked, don't do what I did.
