FIRST TURKEY EVER

got up late yesterday my friend and i got into the woods at around 8 and then we walked forever and we would stop and call to try to locate some birds. finally we heard 2 birds pretty close so we set up and about 10 minutes later the one i shot hit the ground at about 25 yards. 11 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs.

thanks guys. turk said the spurs were the biggest he has checked in this season so far i was pretty proud when i heard that. the bird only weighed 17 pounds
