1st, thanks Ronnie for putting me in, (twice). I left the plug out so had to put her back on the trailer and put the plug in. The way the vs185 is made, it’s a put it back on trailer and do it. No way to do it in water.

With the early blast off, frank wasn’t quite there yet so I fished until he got there, and went and got him when he got to the ramp.

We fished areas based on our past experiences, and used techniques based on our past experiences, that have produced good fish, and only caught 5 bass that didn’t measure and 5 rough fish. Had a lot of weird rod/reel equipment failures between the both of us through out the night too for whatever reason. Not to mention A lot of lost lures. Weird night.

I did catch a Toyota hubcap and a wad of old line, lures, and fishing rod. Sorry, no pic of the hubcap. Released it right away. But here is a pic of the catch of the night.

Your night sounded a lot like ours. That was a mess with all that line. I got a big wad wrap up in my trolling motor getting unhung.

Holy smokes, it was a rough night for all. Isn’t it weird that several of us had issues with equipment that night. Almost like we were given warning signs that the fishing was gonna suck! I made several comments about us not catching any catfish.

Tough night on Nick. Fished Friday, before the storm, fish didn't want to play. At least you caught the drain plug before you were half way to the bend.
