Not much of a showing for us. We crashed and burned HARD. Can't blame conditions, the fish, or anything really because most of the guys caught fish; including some really good bags both days. Bright side was, my wife and daughter showed up at the weigh-in to surprise me which was cool. Totally didn't expect that. Too bad we didn't have a lot to weigh in this time.

Hats off to everyone that caught some fish. Especially to Mark & Ray on getting the W for the 2 day event. Stayed strong the whole season.

Thanks to the guys on the committee for a great season and all the hard work every tournament. All the events are well run and weigh-ins are very efficient so the fish get weighed and back in the water quickly.

Thanks to my partners every tournament. Dad in the day events and Frank Chupaska in the night deals. And Calder Martin in the day events when Dad cannot fish with me.

It has been really tough the last few weeks. Glad y’all caught a few fish. There was a couple days we didn’t catch any.

Tale of two tournaments. We were in the same boat as you with small sacks. Always enjoyed visiting with you and your dad. A nice surprise to have your family show at weigh in, that support means everything. Look forward to seeing both of you at the ramp sometime.

Thanks for your nice comments, Dean, the feeling is mutual. You guys did better than we did, WTG! Funny, Pete Jr. knows Nickajack pretty well, but a couple of our spots were already occupied and we probably stayed too long in some places. When Pete sets a hook it’s usually “fish on!” Not this time. Either a whiff or the hook came back without the plastic worm. Even lost a fish punching. Same for me except fewer hits. Finished 2nd last year, outhouse this year.

Looking forward to seeing you and Dr. Mike at the ramp and on the water!
