I always let my clients know well in advance that, "I do NOT clean fish." It is posted on my website as well. If they keep 'em, they clean 'em. emoSorry

However, I regularly (or occasionally) have clients ask, "Is there anywhere I can take them to be cleaned?" I have a client coming Sunday who has asked me.

They're used to the Florida locales where you just drop off your catch, pay 'em a bunch of of money, and then pick up your fish filets ready to haul home to cook/eat. emoHungry

So, I'm curious, is there anyone out there (in immediate Chattanooga area) who might be interested in doing that? And if so, what would you charge?

Who knows? It might be more cost efficient than mowing yards for an industrious teenager. I suspect I might have more clients interested, if I let them know it was available.

Just thought I'd throw the question out there. If anybody is interested, post or PM me a phone number and we can discuss in more detail.

Seems like this would be a good addition for someone that already owns a bait shop. They could probably make catfish bait with some of the carcasses and sell it also. Grind them up and mix in some kind of thickeners or something to make a dough or thick paste out of it..

Sounds like another opportunity for someone who has a guide service to get a little more income. Double dip.
