fish finder

i have purchased a new garmin fisf finder and i really have no clue how to read it and tell when im on a grass bed or a stump of corse it didnt come with idiot instruction can yaw point me to a web site or give me a pointer in how to learn to start to read one i have never used one so im a green horn at the fishing sport ( were is a few good places to go for small mouth and large mouth bass close to the cleveland area were i can start doing more fishing

Getting some experience with it will help a lot. When you know you are on a mud, rock, or hard bottom note how the surface is displayed on your screen.

A friend of mine bought a Garmin GPS for his car.  It did <font color="#ff0000">not</font> come with instructions!!  There was a simple note instructing him to go to the website and download the manuals.</p>
