Anyone use this bait much?
I got some in the mail today and after ordering I heard it is a bait for clear water, any input???

I talked to the guy that makes them at the classic a couple of weeks ago.It looks like a very good bait and something I'll def. be trying.let me know how you do with them.

I've never thrown one, but I've seen alot of reports of guys using tem to catch suspended spots on Lanier, and some of those other "spotted bass" lakes. I know Aaron Martens used a similar bait last year in the classic catching suspended LMs around bridge pilings.

I have been using the swormin hornet on the chick and it has been producing. Last week I caught my biggest spot on a 1/4 ounce white, it weighed close to 3 lbs.My best luck is to slow roll it on points in about 15 feet of water.

I've used this bait religiously over the past few years, it can be an incredible little bait. I've caught some giant spots and stripers on the fish head. For me though it's not a bait to just run banks with, I have used the fish head almost soley to catch suspended spots over brush piles. You can count the bait down and slow roll it through a water column and really target suspended fish. It's also a GREAT bait for schooling fish, you can cast it a mile so that helps when fishing for schoolers. I've only used it on Lanier and Carters in the deep clear water but during last years FLW Championship on Logan Martin there were a lot of guys slow rolling the fish head around docks and wacking some big spots so it's more versatile than I'm giving it credit for.

During my last Tx on Lanier I caught my 2 biggest fish on the T-Spin which is Pro Lures version of the fish head

The pic below is of my biggest to date on the fish head, I caught it at Carters last Spring it weighed 5.8lbs..... The fish was suspended in about 35ft of water over a brushpile.

Good luck let me know how you like the bait.

Thanks for the input. I will be trying it on Lanier here in a couple more weeks.
