Fish the Chick today,....4-21-2006

Between the hale, lighting, thunder, heavy rains and flooding it almost wasn't worth going but I did and I am glad I did. Fished a whole lot of different places and tried a lot of different things. I caught 14 bass with six keepers and the best five went 13 and a half lbs. I was pre-fishing for the tournament I got tomorrow and hope I have a fairly good plan now. the best one I caught today was just over four and she hit top water in about four foot.emoTongue Man I love um' when they blow on top. I really got haled on today and that can be painful.emoBang I sure hope it goes on through tonight. In some places it muddied up real fast and looked to be unfishable. The lake has come up over a foot today so it is higher than it has been this year.emoCool Jmax

Good luck Jmax and Tarheel. Also to any other members of CFF that are fishing the Wal-Mart tourney in the morning. I may be out for a short while in the morning seeing if I can catch a few too. Have fun.
