Made it out today with high hopes. Always a positive to get week day mornings on the lake. Put in at CF and started fishing some main lake shallow areas with a spinnerbait early on. Just one hit and nothing else. So switched up to some deep water tactics. Hit all my spots that have been paying out lately and added some new ones in too... Nothing. Crankbaits, jigs, swimbaits, t rig... Nothing... Well I did manage to set into 4 fish on a deep cb but lost them all before they got to the boat. So no reward of smelling like bass today. Finally packed it up around 1:30 once I could feel the sun beating thru me. Might set out tonight and see what happens. Water temp was 85-86 and the action I did get was 15 fow or deeper.
