Just in case I'm NOT the last one to learn this:
About 6 months ago I bought a Lowrance LMS 520c and bought the Fishing Hot Spots Disc from LEI. As most of us know here in Tennessee .... The water levels are dropped from Oct 15th for winter pool .... and NOT brought back up till about April 15th.
I always wondered ..... but didn't know ..... When they mapped and made those discs ..... Did they do them when the water was down? or up ? So I wrote them asking that question and this is the reply they sent back:
Richard,
Thank you for purchasing the Lowrance Fishing Hot Spots Pro chip, your support of the product is very much appreciated. In response to your question, the map and associated depth information is depicted at normal summer pool. During periods of drawdown it will be necessary for you to compensate for the reduction in pool elevation while navigating.
I trust this answers your question but, if there is anything else you need please feel free to contact me. Thanks again.

I thought I would pass it along here.
