Went to watts bar 7 am this morning to try for stripers again. Boy was it foggy, couldn't see fishing partner in back seat. Got lost in fog, and did a couple of laps before we saw any landmarks, then made it to turbins. caught 2 stripers #9.5 and
#13 lbs. The #13 lb was my first striper ever and now my PB. used jigs+curly tails. GOTTA GO BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tileman, what you do in the fog up there is ease over to the Rhea county side and run up to the dam, slip over into a stream, and drift back down, being ever mindful of looking overhead and watch for the power lines that cross the river. When you reach them, quit fishing, ease back to the Rhea side again and repeat process. That way you won't get lost. Pray that there aren't any other boats up there doing the same thing as you are. About 1 month ago, we had 1 boat actually collide with us as we drifted backdown while I was unhooking a fish. The fisherman caught the side of my boat with his hands and minimized the collision, but it could get hairy up there. I don't know why he came over to watch us, unless he was trying to see what we were catching. Be careful!emoGeezer
