I would not fish with Hi viz.
However you might be alright using hi viz line with a fluoro leader.
Generally when fishing for trout it is best to use the lightest, least visible line available in the area you are fishing, because trout have great eyesight, and can be more easily spooked.
Ultimately I cannot give better advice, as it depends on what kind of water you are fishing. Lake/pond trout can be quite different than big river trout which can be different from small stream trout.
I personally use hi viz line, with a flouro leader. I have it set up so that the only line in the water that the fish might see is the flouro, and that there is just enough hi viz out so I can detect light bites easier.
So for me hi viz where I can see it, and flouro for where the trout/ fish are. I use this set up for all of my rods.
I absolutely would not even attempt fishing for trout with a lure/hook directly tied to hi vis line. If you use high vis line, make sure you absolutely tie on fluoro.
