River access is very lacking. I live close by and unless you want an all day float, I haven't found adaquate take outs. You can put in a couple places in Tellico but there is only 1 ramp down stream off Reagan Valley road, before you get to the backwaters of Tellico lake. I am also not sure how open the river is as far as downed trees on that section. I am still looking for access as I would love to fish that section
Post above was by me, I forgot to log in before posting. Was going to add that pretty much any water above the Tellico Beach area is too rough to float in a kayak, especially during normal to low flow.
