Fishing the Chick Blind

I'am going to be fishing the SCA event Sat......I plan on fishing on the Chick....I have never fished up there, but I know how to fish alittle......I was wondering are yall fishing the discharge area at the nuke?.......is that water not too hot for the bait fish right now?......when yall talk about current up there, are you talking about from the nuke plant or from the dam generation or both?....what is the average depth up there?....what is the deepest water?... and where do I find it?.....I wanna catch two blues beteen 50-200lbs and 3 that are 33 3/4 in long...where and how do I need to fish? lol.........I know nobody want's to write me a book or draw maps...I just want some basic info......I already got a good Idea of where I want to fish from looking at online maps, but when I actually get on the water....the map plan usually goes out the window.

Man you have come to the right place! Keep watching these threads, and you will see everything you need to catch those big blues, and even those pidly LM bass. I dont know why anyone would want those "little" fish biting thier lines anyway.

Buddy of mine told me today that Brown's Ferry Nuclear Plant had to shut down one of its reactors because the dadgum river water was too hot to cool it.

I hope they don't cook that world record that's laying down there.

Thanks for your help guys......I love fishing your waters, there always good to me......I will post a report with some pics later......but there were some hawgs weighed in that came from both the river and lake.......but in the end the lake did prevail....hopefully a few of yall can come out an join us on Sep. 1st out of Shellmound.
