Fishing was a little slow Saturday. The bait has definately moved and is roaming in pods or schools. So I'm in the chasing mode with a cast net in hand most of the morning. Caught a mix of 8 to 10 spotted bass and largemouth. I'm just hanging out till the big rock's and hybrids move in. Which should be shortly in a week or two if the weather stays warm. I'm sure we will still have a few cold fronts blow thru which will set things back a day or two. But all in all we have all pretty much beat old man winter. TVA did not generate water Saturday or Sunday. Which is why my fishing was slowed this weekend. I did hear that it took 28lbs to win the Marion Co. Park tournament on Nick-A-Jack Saturday morning put on by Big Don Edmundson. They had 31 boats. I'm not sure who caught that bag of fish but congratulations on that sack if your a CFF member. If your not making down to Nick-A-Jack lake every once in a while your missing a boat load of fish.
