fishing trip for Saturday

I plan on taking my daughter fishing on Sat. morning and would like to catch alot fish doesn't matter what kind someone said to try the steam plant for white bass or stripe any tips or suggestions will be greatly apreciated.emoThanks

There are a lot of smaller catfish there also. Anchor right in the discharge boils, and use smaller hooks with chix liver, small pieces of cut bait, or even chix breast ot thigh. Use enough weight to get it to the bottom, and start reeling the fish in! Have fun!</p>

Kenneth, go below the nick right out in front of the boat ramp, they are catching a lot of spots and white bass or stripe, or go across the river and fish on the fishing pier for brem, upper end, fish toward the bank using crickets, you will catch a load of them, no boat needed here.

I second Doc's suggestion. If you just want to catch fish, you can't go wrong in the bay in front of the boat ramp below Nick. You might have to endure the crowd that will be there on Sat, but they've been in there for a while now... fish and people...

i agree with doc and na,you may get lucky and even get on some of the saugar.but if you go to the steam plant i dont think youll have any problem catching some kind os fish.try around the ends of the walls you should catch some crappie.if you catch any of the needle fish take a picture and post it.

If you are interested in bluegills let me know. I know where bunches usually are this time of the year on Chickamauga. Real easy too.
