Fishing with FA on Chick 7-24-06

Went to Soddy Creek with the Fat One. Started at about 5:00 and fished until nearly 9:00. Only caught 7 fish but 5 of them were keepers or close to being keepers. Most on worms, a couple on Chatterbait. Al beat me 4 to 3.

FA Thought I looked so good in my new hat that he just had to have one for himself. However, after getting the hat he came to realize it wasn't the hat that made me so good looking!! Oh well, it will keep the sun off the top of his ears.

Still a great aftenoon with a good friend!!

Okay FA, Bprice, and everyone else on the forum. You guys need to smile when you get a pic with a fish. Either that or the cameramen need to be sure to say, "say cheez".

That is what's called an optical colusion ... I think MB was standing on his tip toes and I sure looks as if I am a runt... just to add to the report.... yes, I did catch one more fish than MB did... and let me tell you all I worked real hard to get them 4 fish... 3 on a red shad worm and one on C/R with same color. the small mouth was short but man what heart... the sucker jumped twice and honest to goodness, ever bit of 3 feet high he jumped... fun, fun. MB using that thing called chattersomething... every time we go out he catches fish on that thing... I hate to tell this on him but he did get hung up quite a bit tonight. Once about 20 feet high in the top of a tree and wanted to blame it on me.... shame on him. We did have a great time... I thought we might have a night like polo did the other night but no such luck.... emoGeezer Don't you think the HAT makes me even more handsome???emoScratch

Al distracted me for a second and I did stick my chatterbait up in a tree. I call that a "squirrel shot". I realize some use that term to mean something else, but that's what I use it for.

However, no problem, I promptly whipped out the old extension pole and pulled that sucker out of the tree, clipped the line, and had my lure and was clear of the tree.

I will make a conscious effort to smile when I have my picture taken. I can assure you that I am pleased and happy when I get a fish I deem "picture worthy".

BTW, Don't call my good friend "short". And he's not really fat either. He's "compressed" from all those years of pounding concrete at du Pont!!

What kind of a human would I be if I said YES???? I prefer to call that state of inflation ... fluffy. Nothing wrong with fluffy. I hope!!! I always thought if people spend as much time worry about someone else's welfare as they did about what they weighed ... we'd live in a heck of a caring place wouldn't we???

But FA .. I will say you do look ...

Let's face it Al. You're just like me. FAT! However, I'm reducing my figure. But we both are in great shape. Round is a shape isn't it?emoUpsmile emoGeezer
