got out for a bit firday evening, started on a ledge that has had some fish but is no secret. only caught one there, the fish were there but just acted strange, may have all just gotten caught 
went to looking for some new to me fish and found em, shellbed in 14-16' caught good many before the sun went down, cb and swimbait did a lot og the damage. had one BIG one hooked and it pulled off.
got out sunday morning around 9 for a couple of hours, went right back to where i finished up on friday. second cast, doubled up, both looked to be about 3 1/2lbs, im thinking SWEET! im getting ready to hammer them..........well serves me right.......they both got off and shut down the school. i caught one more little fish out of that area. so off to find some more, checked a place where i had found some fish in practice for the open and it was loaded but they were eating funny, coming off, getting foul hooked on several different baits. they shut down too but i changed the angle of the dangle on em and caught a few more before they completely quit. then started milling around on this big flat shell bed area catching one here and there before heading in at 1230.
