fished the friday nighter with Eric. didnt have a clue and it showed. started off on some fish that Eric knew of on a little point/shellbed. caught a few with only 2 keepers before they shut down. spent the rest of the night trying to get a bite emoScratch caught a couple of short fish on a worm but that was about it.
went back out saturday night, fished some river channel breaks with a worm but no love. fished a bunch of grass and manged just a couple of little fish. DANG IT!
went out sunday afternoon/evening, took Christine and Collin bream fishing for a bit. dropped them off and ran to a shell bed that has had some fish on it. plenty of current but only one bite and that was right when i popped my worm off of something that i was hung on. ran to another shellbed i found last week that was absolutely loaded with white perch/hybrids. pulled up and first cast with a cb, hooked up! comes to the surface white bass on the front hook 4lb lm on the back, of course the lm comes off! i proceeded to catch a white perch/hybrid EVERY cast for the next 30mins. started moving around and managed to hook a couple of more bass in between all the white perch. threw a couple of other things in there to try and ward off the little boogers but no love. i know there are lm around there just gotta figure it out.
