took off and immediately heard the motor change tone, thought the lower unit with south. so turned around and just started fishing, sat out on the river channel edge and fish busting EVERYWHERE, thought a shad spawn was going on, tried a bunch of stuff but could never got a sniff. worked my way into a little backwater. caught a couple to include a 5lber on a RW series V-twin buzzbait from TrueSouth. caught a couple of little ones on a swim jig around shallow grass. then started pitching a t-rigged craw around and caught several more. picked up Tammie around 1030 and started fishing again, caught a few more and culled a couple of times but they were still little. ended up with right at 9lbs, needed a couple more good ones, like the 5-6lber that followed my glide bait all the way back to the boat late in the day. ugh!

I put about four hours on the lower unit since then saw speeds up to 70 miles an hour with not a problem. The only thing I can figure is I picked up a bag or something in the water
