Started the day at 6:30(barely light) and hit the grass mats with the horny toads. It took 45 minutes but we finally found some fish. Jon caught a 3.2 first and within the next 15 minutes our horny toads got beat up pretty good. I hooked 4 and all 4 of them came off,Jon flipped a tomato colored ol' monster and caught a solid keeper. That's when I hooked the biggest bass I have ever hooked(key word),I have no idea how big that fish was,but we both guessed 8 easily(oh yea he came off too)emoAngry . After that I just sat down for a little while. Well the fish slowed way way down after that. I finaly landed a fish around noon on a green and orange pig and jig,it went 4.0 so not a bad day. We ended up catching around 7 bass,all keepers except 1 dink. So for my first time down there was a success and I really can't waite to get back!! Here are some pictures.
