Now that everything is winding down it's a good time to inspect the ole rig and trailer for loose bolts, bearings greese, and all the little things that need attention after a season of rompin up and down the road and lake. Fix it up so it's ready to go the next time you are. I know I have several little things that need tending to.

A great reminder. Unforutunately, the bolts that I have loose can't be fixed with a wrench - unless it's alongside the head emoLaugh

Would def check for line in props and wheels.I have seen alot of seals go out this year from line. Now that we have grass alot more people is using line that will kill seals. And always good to check ball on bumper or hitch. :)

Your right Shane, I Just cleaned off a bunch of line around my trolling motor prop AND I think it got the seal. I also just picked up all the line out of my boat where I throw it until I can get to a trash can ..I wish everybody would not throw it in the lake because those trolling motors are not cheap and a seal kit is about 25.00 bucks to do it yourself if you catch it before it lets water into the motor....

I wish every one keep their old line.It has became a big problem on this lake.I have got where I check my props every 3 months. And take my wheels of trailer twice a year for line.I had to change hub on uncle's trailer on side of road this year.Wheel fell compelty off going down road cause of line. emoAngry
