What part of the St Johns do ya'll fish? We went down in Feb. and caught some really nice crappie around Astor but we didn't bass fish.
Nice bass by the way.

Whats sad is that he had to sneak off and go down there without me. But, nice fish anyway.

TIP OF THE DAY: Always keep a bucket in the boat just in case.

We usually fish around the Sanford or DeBary area just of hwy 17 92. If we're not fishing in the St. Johns River, we are fishing in Lake Monroe. The guide we use knows what he's doing, he can put you on very big fish! We fish with extra large golden domestic shiners about 12" long. What an adreneline rush seeing a monster blow up on it!

Thanks for selling me out BIGFISH!!! The deal with the bait bucket is I had to go very, very, very, very bad! If you get what I mean? So the only thing I could do is use the fishing guides bait bucket. What an experience!

If you go back down there you should try stick marsh or the Oklawahaw River. Make sure you use the big river shinners, but I prefer artificial.

Why didn't you just go to the bank.
Them gators and snakes won't bother you.

Golden shiners and Florida Water = monster bass.

As a kid we fished this way and caught some MONSTER Bass. I am sure you had a blast.
