Best I've used is Sunline FC Sniper. I'm using some 20lb Berkley Vanish right now as well, and I am extremely happy with it.

I've had good luck out of the Yo-Zuri Top knot. it is thinner per pound test than most other brands and ALOT cheaper! im sure there are "better" ones out there but if you wanna save a buck its hard to beat

Honestly Flouro is so overrated and expensive its crazy!! You can't go wrong with Trilene big game! Hard to beat it period! K9 is great too but we have had some break offs with it. I promise on everything in me the fish don't care and big game is super cheap and so dang good in this kind of weather!

Seaguar Invisx is my go to, but I use different kinds for different baits. If I am using something moving, cranks, spinnerbaits, chatter etc, then I will use Sunline Assassin, it is a little cheaper, and has 225 yards per spool, if you have the backing right you can actually get three or four refills from one spool. I also like Sunline shooter or sniper, but I seldom pay that price. Invisx is not the best out there, but it has a little stretch and that helps me a lot. I have shattered other lines on hooksets. I fish a lot of spotted bass lakes, but if all I was fishing was Chick, I think I would be throwing more mono, but I have tried to fish the braid to mono rig at Allatoona and I just can't feel those subtle bites.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!

but to the OP's original question, of the guys i know that use flouro.......PLine

Try Seaguar red label. It's not as brittle and has less memory than P line. It's got good knot strength and abrasion resistance. It's also more reasonably priced than other flourocarbon lines.

I have never been a big fan of fluro and only used it when I have to for specific applications..like fishing a spy bait or drop shot on south holston or up north in clear water lakes , But I would have to choose FC sniper as my first choice and P LIne as my second. Often I find myself using it as a leader from three to ten foot onto some 15lb braid for drop shots , damiki fishing, etc. You just have to make sure you get the knot right (allbright for me) and I use a little knot glue and make the knot smooth so it will cast ok. Finally I have a few nails up in the garage and the night before I leave to go fishing I stretch the fluro over those nails and let it hang overnight with a bullet weight on the end to take out some of the memory, IN spite of all that I still find myself stripping off a bunch of fluro and respooling more often with that expensive stuff than I think I should.
