I'm in awe of Larry Nixon to be so competitive at 62?

Congrats to Andy Morgan for FLW's AOY. He's such a great guy and one heck of a fisherman, just like his dad.

Casey Matin with over 27lbs and Wesley Strader with over 20lbs when the bite was tough shows how good they are.

I am right there with you. I remember watching him when I was in my 20s. He also is about as nice a guy as you can find. He just keeps on casting, kind of like the Everyready Bunny, just keeps going and going. emoWorthy Jmax

Way to go Michael. I can remember when you use to fish the old Ratman Tournaments out of Wolftever. Great to see a local boy doing well. Great story about you on the news earlier too.

This tournament is on course to have the largest winning weight of any FLW Tour tournament this year.....by a lot. The heaviest 4 day sack was on Okeechobee in February. 75.7 lbs. It will be 85-90 lbs on Chickamauga.

congratulations to all the local guys who are doing so well, it is great to see, and if i am not mistaken, didnt larry nixon win on chick around 20 yrs ago when they came here before

Just wondering...does anybody know if this Andy Morgan of Dayton,TN is of the family business of Morgan Furniture Co. and does he have an older brother named Whitt?
