Well not a lot to report, I had been out earlier in the week and caught a few right before dark flipping shallow brush next to drops so that where we started. spent about 3- 40 min doing this and nothing. decided to make a move to a secondary point and Zane gets our first keeper in the boat on a TX rig. we fish for a while there and all we get are slicks, we decide to make another move to a bank that's a little deeper we pull up and there are bait fish everywhere. We start catching right off the bat Zane puts our second keeper in the boat we try this for a while but cannot get a 3rd so we decide to move again. shallow area with some grass Zane picks up a frog and then hits me with it twice as he is trying to set the hook too early. we both get a good laugh out of it..we pick up a few small fish on TX rig. I threw the Spinner-bait on and off all night with only one hit that decided he wanted to keep my spinner-bait, i set the hook feel the head shake then snap... emoBang . we wind up with only 2 keepers on a night where it seems everyone caught fish. we struggled. Still had fun Looking forward to getting back to day time fishing. Congrats to the winners on some really nice fish. See you at the next one

With the exception of boat traffic I am also looking forward to getting back to day fishing.

Sounds about how our night went....I'll take the boat traffic. This night stretch has whooped my butt this year.
emoScratch We may oughta try a weekday tourny. only 4 trailers on lot today @ HB Ramp. emoThumbsup was a quiet day today........couple water nats, couple pontoons, couple overniters tied up in Hideaway sleu.....
Bassing were a bit slow also....couple keepers & several shorts. Did see couple of schools of top water chasing, had some gooderns, just 50 yards outta reach .
I had another day in bladder surgery yesterday, had to get my prescription filled today.....another biopsy and mass in bladder....time on water alone, prescription filled.....thanks............... emoGeezer emoUSA
