Does anybody in town carry flywheel pullers? I can't find anybody that has one in stock & I've already got the motor out and ready (guess i should have read the whole manual before starting) emoBang

Steve,
Bring it over here and I can pop it for you. They are all over Ebay. Will make putting it back on a breeze if the get one with the lifting ring. emoToast emoToast emoToast

Have you torn down the engine I gave you???

O.K.!
We did get the block torn apart Tuesday night. The 3rd piston & cylinder are scorn BAD, feels almost like a serated blade when you run your finger over them. The 2nd just a little but the rings aren't siezed but there are still 4 good ones there emoThumbsup. We got everything off of mine to the point where we just have to remove the nuts off the bottom bolts and pull it out. I didn't want to get it out and on the table until we had the puller so I can tear in that same night.
emoQuestion If the cylinder on mine is as bad as the one we tore apart, can it be re-sleeved?
I'm going to pull mine this evening . I'll give you a call when I get a break today and hook up a time when I can come by.

One cylinder on most outboards can be bored over and the other 5 can stay standard. You have a .003 limit that after it is honed, if still within specs, you put a standard piston in it as well. You will read that in manual I gave you as well as the factory manuals that I have. So there is no point in re-sleeve it to keep it standard. You can buy a 150 block for what it would cost to sleeve that 115 block. A lot cheaper to bore. JMO..
