We held our classic last Saturday morning on Chickamauga from 6am-2pm. Due to only having a small number of qualifiers and all being boaters, we changed the format and decided to fish as individuals for the Classic title instead of teams. We also had the option of going out of the riverpark or the dam. Everyone appeared to have a good time and catch quite a few fish, and every participant took home some cash and equpment. We also had another qualifier, Scott Pennington who could not make it. Below is the final finish:
1. Patrick McBride (fished lake)
2. Terry O'Neal (fished river)
3. Ronnie McConathy (fished lake)
4. Joe Pickett (fished lake) - Joe lost a monster that slipped out of his hands at the boat that could have seriously changed the final outcome.
5. David Cope (fished lake)
McBride and O'Neal shared big fish. We hope to start next year's tournaments earlier than normal and are considering a change to a team format. I was blessed enough to win, but more than that, got to see the comradry and fellowship that makes this club fun to fish in. I will post my report under fishing reports.
God Bless.
