Mark Vaughn and Tommy Vaughn captured the FOCBA Tournament out of the Riverpark on Saturday. They edged out Joe and Joby Pickett by a little more than 1 ounce to take the win. The top three was as follows:

1. Team Vaughn - 5 Fish - 8 Pounds 6 Ounces (Big Fish)

2. Team Pickett - 5 Fish - 8 Pounds 5 Ounces

3. Patrick McBride - 5 Fish - 7 Pounds2 Ounces

Fishing was sporadic on the river, as the bite seemed to fluctuate (along with the water). At blast off, water was down, then it was up, then around noon it dropped again. Seems like the small spotted bass were hungry, but you had to really catch a large amount of fish to get to the better ones. Seems most fish were caught on crankbaits, shaky heads, chatterbaits, jigs, and tubes.

Thanks for all who come out.
