FOCBA Tourney 3/7/2009

We fished tourney #3 out of the riverpark this morning. The anglers who chose to run the long distance to the hot areas found them to be full of boats and unproductive. It was a beautiful daythe Lord gave us. Congrats to Mark Vaughn (Jasper) and Tommy Vaughn on the victory with just short of 12 pounds. Jeff Kokoszka and Wade Brumley followed them about a pound behind and the big fish with a 4 1/2 pound largemouth . Patrick McBride was third.</p>

Cranking seemed to be the technique of success.</p>

It was a beautiful day. I felt bad because we waited to blast off a few minutes on a boat that was an unexpected no-show, which I am worried prevented a few guys from getting where they wanted a little quicker.

You should never delay a blastoff for anybody. It is each persons responsibility to get to the blastoff on time.

I agree. I guess I hesitated 5-10 minutes attempting to give some the benefit of the doubt. Will never happen again.
