For Sale: 2003 VW GTI MKIV VR6, 6 Speed, Silver, Black Leather

Background on my GTI:

I bought this car in February of 2007 and have babied it ever since. I wash the car at least once a week and it has always had wax on it. This car was a 1 owner car when I got it. It was serviced throughout it's life at Village VW/Audi in Chattanooga. I have all records of oil changes and routine service that has been done since I got the car as well as a full printout of the service performed by the owner before me. There has been no major work done on the car (other than scheduled maintenance). The car is immaculate. It is silver with black leather interior. It has the 6 speed manual transmission and a K&N cold air intake. I've had a new driver window button installed and a new shift knob installed (done at the dealership the day I bought it). I've always used synthetic oil. The overall body of the car is almost perfect. There is 1 small scratch on the driver side (about a half inch long), but other than that there is no damage at all. The windows are tinted and it has the Monsoon sound system.

To bad it's not a TDI, I would be all over it.

Good luck on a good looking car.

With diesel prices at what they are at?? :) Of course it would get much better gas mileage at the same time!

You ought to put this thing on autotrader.com or somewhere similar. You have a nice car and it should move pretty quickly with the right audience. I have a 2004 Jetta GLS turbo and these cars kick butt. For people thinking they would rather have a TDI - they are mistaken and do not understand how efficient VW's gas motors are... without the headaches of driving a diesel. I'd advertise your gas milage as well. I get 26/32. If it weren't for that, I'd have little extra cash for boat gas. Good luck trading for a boat.

Thanks man...Believe it or not I've posted it on Autotrader for 3 - 3 week periods and nothing. It gets expensive at $60 a pop...I've also posted it up on cars.com, ebay (only got up to $4000!), and craigslist...I've tried everything I know. I've spent well over $400 putting it up for sale. KBB is around $13,565 for private party sale so I'm right there on the price. Unfortunately I owe more than that:( I'm thinking a trade in a boat dealer might be my only option. Anyone know how hard it is to get a loan for a boat?

FYI - GAS MILEAGE ADVERTISEMENT !!! (Thanks THutch) - My car gets the same mileage as well - 26/32....That is great for a V6 with 200 hp!!! The 6th gear really helps!
