Anyone's thugs can act ignorant, only difference is they dont get a second chance and a third chance at Alabama like they do at Tennessee. Roll Tide. I hope they go to prison.

Saban won't stand by and try to cover their mistakes for them. He simply suspended them indefinitely and thats the end of that. The loss is truly theirs not the University's.

"Calloway’s arrest was the first for an Alabama football player since safety Mark Barron was charged with hindering prosecution in March in Mobile."

The only problem with the above statement was it happened in 2011. So, what does this mean? Apparently Saban gives players 2nd chances after all. The recent arrest was Calloway's 2nd brush with the law. And oh, what is that? Mark Barron was arrested? hmmm, he remained on the team didn't he? So do any of you Alabama fans want to man up and admit that Saban also gives 2nd chances to "thugs" just like Tennessee?

Come on, admit it all coaches handle certain situations pretty much the same way. Depending on the circumstances, some get kicked off and some get to stay, AT EVERY SCHOOL.

Any comment Charlie? Any one? Chirp Chirp? emoUpsmile </p>

I will answer, Mark Barron lied to the cops to protect his cousin in a car accident. If a college football player got kicked off of a team every time he lied we would be watching lingerie football. Its a little different than Jackson at tennessee getting arrested for armed robbery and staying on the team. Do you have anything else to throw out there Steve? Oh yea someone did the research for you, well maybe you can wait for them to do some more thinking and when they come up with something you can chirp chirp again. LOL.

BAMA fans sure are quiet about this matter. Surely they don't think these AL football players deserve a slap on the wrist, but without comment you're left to wonder.

As a UT fan I am hoping that discipline of player behavior returns to Knoxville. Only time will tell how coach Jones will respond if a similar violent crime is committed on campus by one of his players.

Im as big an Alabama fan and I wouldnt care if these boys were 8 star athletes. I hope the three that assaulted and robbed 2 students end up in prison and never step foot back on the football field. The one who used the card and knew it was stolen was an idiot and I hope he is off the team but he isnt in the same league as the other three. I would rather have discipline and honor than National Championships any day. But hopefully we can continue to have both.

MM72 we root for different teams, but we are of like mind on this. No room for violent offenders on any of our teams. If SEC schools are going to aspire to be National Champions then they need to demonstrate character on and off the field and in the classroom.

Courtney Upshaw, Rashad Johnson, and Prince Hall are also former Alabama players under Saban who were arrested and apparently given...a....second.......chance.......

Plus, "suspended indefinitely" is not exactly "dismissed from the team". Unless something has happened today that I am not aware of Saban has not dismissed any of them from the team, yet.
