I've got a little 7 hp Sears outboard (it is actually a Tecumseh air cooled engine) that needs some work but that I would like to give to someone maybe just starting out or maybe a youngster who needs a first motor. I got it last winter for my 14 aluminum Arkansas Traveler. Ran fine til mid summer. Started missing as you would accelerate. Finally found someone who would look at it and he said it needs a coil that is no longer available except by internet. Someone else said "Baloney", parts are still available at some small engine shops. First guy who looked at it changed some fuel lines (thinking that might be the problem) and after I picked it up would not even start. Course he said it started up for him. I'm in the Knoxville area but I could meet somewhere down I 75 or wherever. I don't want any $ but wish someone could fix it up for someone who maybe needs a hand. Thanks, Wood

I found a home for the motor with the first person I talked to! I'll keep my ears open for any small motors I hear of. Thanks, Wood
