Just replaced older electronics on my boat - went with Lowrance HDS
I removed from my boat an Eagle 3D unit from the front with a trolling motor mounted transducer. I no longer have the 3D transducer, but it still works with a 2D transducer.
I also have a Garmin unit, with GPS, built in antennae, removed from my console. A new owner would need to buy a transducer as the one I had was torn up since it had been used through the hull of my boat.
The Eagle unit is useable, I believe, but they are old and I don't know how much life is left in it. It does sometimes seem to get confused and is slow changing scales in shallow water. It would stick on the 60 foot scale when it needed to be on 10 or 20.
The Garmin unit would occasionally shut down automatically when I was running at high speeds (70 or more mph).
These units are both "non-color" just gray pixels.
If someone that is needy want to try and use them, they can have them for FREE. Just let me know and I'll meet you somewhere and you can pick them up. I don't want to give them away to someone that might simply want to resell them (although I doubt you can find a buyer). I want to give them to someone that needs them and wants to try and make use of them on their boat. PM me if you are interested.
