I just finished rebuilding a '94 model 175 hp Merc V6 . It used to be an EFI but due to computer (ecu), failures that got expensive, I converted it to carburetor induction. So, I guess you can call it an 175 XR6. It does have oil injection. I've only put less than 1 hr on it . The motor offers some great hi performance features; Solid billet aluminum motor mounts, G-Force custom exhaust tuner and dual stage intake reeds. If workmanship is a concern, I've been a certified Merc tech for many years and have a lot of rebuilding experience. This is not a shade tree job. The motor is now bolted up to an 18'6" champion bass boat so, you can actually test run the motor. If you are interested, send me a message with your cell # and I will send you some pictures. I will consider your core motor trade-in towards the sale price. I can also offer rigging for a nominal fee. I can also deliver it locally for free. Asking $3750. Price is for the 'motor only'. No prop, no power steering or controls. Thanks for checking this out.

Got and old 86 115 merc. Would be interested in a 2000 plus 115 to 135 if you can keep your eye open for one of them.
