They Will start May 6th. We are doing it a little different this year. We will have a set schedule. They will be 30.00 per boat with 5.00 of that going to the end of the year classic. Those that quailfy for the end of the year classic can fish both nights with the 60.00 for those night also going into the pot for the classic. Im working on the exact dates now and they will be posted next week.

Chris was joking relax Leonard. On a serious note have you thought about doing Friday one week and sat the next? Then having a classic for the guys that fish however many u want to require?

I don't have a problem with both nights on the weekends, some guys cant make it on Friday and some might have club tourney on Saturday," hence" the CBA, CFF, or anyone else. I do these for fun and don't care If I win them or not. I enjoy hanging out, and shooting the bull with fellow fisherman, that's all Dusty. emoAngel

Dusty, I had thought about that, but when I talked to several people they requested we do both nights because there schedule would not allow them to fish one night or the other. I did this to make it fair for everyone and not show any favoritism. Also, there are folks that fish other tourn. on, just say Friday night at Nickajack and wanted to be able to fish ours on Saturday night. My thing is to allow everyone that wants to be able to fish and have a chance to qualify for that classic if that is there choice. Add Vacations and family emergencies and those folks that have to miss some and they have a chance to double up on a few and still be able to fish the classic. Hope this clarifies it for you sir. I've waited all winter for these to pick back up. I've talked with Tim, and we came up with the best all around format I think we could've. If our numbers stay up where we think they will for the whole season the classic will have a nice bit of money. I plan on donating to be honest with you. I really struggled to get a quality bite last year until the grass came in. Then I was right at home! As far as the rest goes on this thread, we stayed with both nights to try to please everyone. Like Tim said, some of our guys fish the Nick one night and ours the next and vice versa.
