Well, I was originally gonna ride along with backonthewater in his boat today, but some things came up and I couldn't meet up with him as planned. Decided to try my luck in the tailwaters today. Took some crawlers and caught some shad for cutbait. Fished from about 130 or so till a little after 7. Caught a few small blue cats on the crawlers and had something break me off on the cutbait. Wish I would have gotten a look at it first! Other than that not too much to speak of. Got quite a few yellow bass and skipjack on a chartruse roadrunner and a couple 3-4 pound drum. One of the guys fishin by me got 2 real big drum, My guess would be in the 15-20lb. range...maybe that's what broke me off 
Hope ya had a little more luck than me backonthewater, sorry I had to take a raincheck! Hope everyone else that went out today had some luck too - from the looks of the cats and drum in that other post I shoulda tried Nickajack...Oh well, there's always tomorrow if it's not rainin!
