Does anyone know of a place that does fried turkeys? There used to be a BBQ joint that would sell fried turkeys for thanksgiving but they went out of business.

Bojangles has them for $43. I would buy a oilless fryer and do it yourself. Tried one a year or two ago in one and it was just as good as one deep fried.

Hmmm that's an idea. I usually smoke my turkeys for thanksgiving but wanted to fry one this year until I saw the price of peanut oil.

I always smoke ours. I have deep fried a bunch over the years for other people. The oilless fryer is the way to go.

Bass pro has turkey frying kits for $39.99. It includes the burner the pot, temp gauge, rack ect. Thought it was a good deal.
