Thanks for posting Gary! Boy those weights were closer than I thought. Carl and I were little under a pound out, Mr Williams got us on 2nd. If was a tough day, lost several that cost us, but that fishing!!!

My quick Frostbite report; 1st, Congrats to Mike Day and his partner-got it done!

I started too shallow with water at 51/52. There was bait everywhere and a few fish feeding but couldn't get bit. Went deeper and got my 1st bite around 11 and it was a Hoss! Snapped me off in a brushpile and cost me the tx. Finally had my 1st keeper at noon. It was 1p and made a last min change to a windblown bank assuming the massive schools of bait I'd seen on the 11th would still be there but blown up against the bank. Last 40 mins I caught 6 fish on a spinnerbait. 4 of which filled my limit and big was a 3.74. My 5th fish came 3 mins before the run in. I felt really dialed in but couldn't get that big 5 or 6lb bite to seal the deal. I still feel happy I filled my limit and weighed in. The warm weather made it an enjoyable day.
