Fished the Bass Pro under 150 on Old Hickory. River was dangerous. Big trees and debris floating everywhere. It was like an obstacle course. Also, plenty of big cruisers and jet skiers due to the weather. Back to fishing. Started on the rock bank outside of Flippers, nothing. Went to Cedar Creek, as recommended on the forum. About half way back because the back was very muddy with a lot of slime on the surface. Caught the first one on a spook about 6:30, worked hard all day. Got one on a wacky worm, one on a texas rigged worm in about 12 fow, one on a spinnerbait. Went to Camp Creek and got the fifth one on a jig around 1:30. Weighed in just under 9 lbs. Not sure where we finished, but we didn't win the boat. Surprised that there were only 34 boats. Hot, hot day. We took an ice chest filled with ice and kept throwing ice and g-juice in the livewell. All fish alive and well at the end of the day. Sorry, can't remember who made the Cedar Creek recommendation, but thanks.
