Yep about tired of it. Next CFF tx down there we need to throw a hissy fit and have the city tell all all other boat traffic other than fishing vessels stay off. And have TVA turn the water on good for us. Instead of turning it off so they can row lol

Organize a single weekend bass tournament that generates $5.5 million for Chattanooga, and yea, they'd probably turn the water on for you. :)

I get it... it's frustrating for me too. Perhaps more so because as a guide, river navigation alterations impact my ability to make a living. I routinely avoid booking trips on Hooch weekends, or do what I did Saturday - fish the AM upstream near the Dam and then pull the boat out and fish PM on the lake.

In spite of that I'm proud to see river-based events. That means LOTS of people care about the river and keeping it clean. The Tennessee River is 650 miles long. The Hooch navigation restriction is 3 miles long. I do understand the frustration but I'm willing to give them 3 miles of the river a few weekends a year to insure that everyone cares about the river as much as I do.

do they buy a permit to use the river for such garbage.hell no but we have to buy license.friggin stinks.(PERIOD)
