Thomas they are warranted for life against defects. Your mistake will cost you $50. Call G. Loomis, give them your address, model number of the rod, and your credit card number. You will have your new rod in 2 days. Put the broken rod in the tube, attach the provided return label, and send it back to them via UPS. When they get the rod back they will bill your card the $50. They pay shipping both ways.
If the break was not your fault the procedure is about the same. The difference being that when G. Loomis recieved the rod back they would inspect it and determine what caused the problem. Either way it never costs more than $50 no matter what the rod cost new.
